1929 Manufacturing of grinding machines for in-house use at Toyo Kogyo (today's Mazda) started
1940 Manufacturing of internal grinding machines started
1950 Han-ei Machinery Co., Ltd., a sales company and the legal origin of our company, was established
1953 Full-scale production of machine tools started
1956 Manufacturing of new automatic precision internal grinding machines started
1963 Technical agreement for honing machines was made with Micromatic Hone Corp.
1966 Technical agreement for super finishing was made with Supfina Corp.
1968 Technical agreement for TiC coating was made with Metall Gesellschaft AG
1972 The Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers Prize was awarded for the development of the internal grinding machines with adaptive control system
1981 Manufacturing of CNC internal grinding machines started
Toyo TiC Corp. (our present Nagoya Plant) was established
1983 Manufacturing of centerless grinding machines for inner ring outer groove of bearings started

1996 Toyo TiC Corp. and Tokyo Hard Coat Corp. were merged
Technical agreement for wire saws was made with HCT Shaping System SA
Cumulative production of internal grinding machines reached 8,000 units
1997 The company merged with Toyo Machine Tools Sales Co., Ltd. to integrate production with sales
The "Excellent Quality Assurance Certificate" was awarded by Mazda Motor Corporation
1998 The Technology Prize was awarded for the development of CNC internal grinding machine by the Japan Society for Precision Engineering
1999 ISO9001 certification obtained (machine tool business)
2000 50th anniversary
